* * Snowflakes * *

Our winters can be rather long here in Central Illinois. Instead of complaining about the cold and snow for months on end, I try to have a little fun. I'm known for wearing fun winter leggings and tall furry boots. Embrace the season, I say.

We're currently in the middle of a somewhat significant snowfall (they say 5-7 inches). It's actually warmer than is has been in weeks past and the falling snow has been absolutely gorgeous. I took few minutes to venture out and photograph some snowflakes. I love that each one is unique. They amaze me.

Don't be fooled - I'm just as anxious as the next person for spring to get here.  Bring on the gardening!
