Festival of Trees Adoption Celebration

Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph the Adoption Celebration at the Festival of Trees.  The Festival of Trees is a family centered holiday celebration for the community that supports children and families of The Baby Fold.  There are several custom-designed trees, wreaths, centerpieces, and gingerbread village available for auction/purchase.

Although we have taken our kids to the Festival every fall, I have never attended the Adoption Celebration.  To say that the personal stories of adoption were emotional would be an understatement.  These families are indeed very special.  I have a deep respect for families that adopt.
