I was still sneaking in family photos a week and a half before Christmas this year. Luckly the weather was cold, but not cold enough that we couldn't go without coats for a few quick pictures. I chose an area on the Constitution Trail in Bloomington I pass by on my way to the gym each day. There is an interesting bridge I often thought would make the perfect backdrop for a family photo. I think it worked out really well!
I received a Polaroid camera as a birthday gift from my brother and sister-in-law and I couldn't wait to try it out as a prop for some photos. We had a few technical difficulties with the cold temperature, but it still turned out to be a decent picture.

Note to self: Polaroids don't develop very well in cold weather |
