New York City Wedding Dress Shopping!

In February, I had the opportunity to join my future sister-in-law in New York City to purchase her wedding dress.  Although she married my brother-in-law in a quaint civil ceremony here in the States in October, 2011, a formal wedding in Brazil was planned for June, 2012.  We spent a few days dress shopping, but also had plenty of time for sight seeing and took in a Broadway play.  What a memorable trip!

There was a lot of paperwork to fill out at each store...

A lot of discussions about ideas...

Several beautiful dresses...

 And while this one was in the top two choices...

 Ultimately, this was the winner...

Then it was time for some sightseeing!

We had a chance to visit the 9/11 Memorial while we were there.

It was very sobering, but very beautiful.

And the Brooklyn Bridge

Legend has it you lock your heart away and throw

the key into the river so it can never be reopened.

And of course, Times Square

I LOVED New York City. 

Given the chance, I'd visit again in a heartbeat.
